Presentation of the Analysis and evaluation of judicial practice regarding war crimes, collaborationism with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation
On April 9, 2024, the team of Fund “Safe Ukraine 2030” presented online legal-analytical opinion on the analysis and evaluation of judicial practice on bringing to criminal responsibility those guilty of war crimes and collaborationism together with the recommendations formed on the basis of the results of the conducted research. This research is made to assist the bodies of the national criminal justice system in the development of strategies for bringing to criminal responsibility those guilty of war crimes and collaborationism and the practice for consideration of the specified category of cases.
These analysis and recommendations were developed within the project “Analysis and evaluation of judicial practice regarding war crimes, collaborationism”. The project is implemented within the grant from the International Renaissance Foundation.
Above mentioned analysis and recommendations were finzlized in line with the comments and proposal obtained during the consultations held in January, 18th, 2024.
The presentation of the analysis and recommendations were organized for representatives of the relevant state authorities, human rights defenders and other stakeholders involved in the investigation, trial of war crimes and collaborationism, as well as those responsible for improving legislation in the sphere.
All participants of the presentation and сconsultations will be sent a finalized analysis and recommendations developed on its basis.
