On 23–25 March 2026, the major international event ASIS Europe 2026 took place in Antwerp, Belgium, bringing together security leaders, experts, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond. Representatives of the SAFE UKRAINE 2030 Foundation took part in the conference.

ASIS International is one of the world’s leading professional associations in the field of security. Since 1955, it has united tens of thousands of security leaders, experts, and practitioners in more than 150 countries. Its annual European conference serves as an important platform for the exchange of professional expertise, the discussion of emerging security challenges, risk management practices, and the development of strategic partnerships.
This year, ASIS Europe 2026 gathered more than 1,000 leaders in security and risk management from over 50 countries. The central theme of the conference focused on the transition “from risk to resilience” in an increasingly complex, volatile, and interconnected security environment.
Today, security is no longer merely a strategic business function. It is increasingly becoming a fundamental condition for societal resilience, organisational continuity, the protection of people and infrastructure, and the preservation of trust. In this context, Ukraine’s experience carries particular significance for the international security community. Ukraine continues to demonstrate an exceptional capacity for rapid adaptation, crisis response, and the preservation of operational continuity among businesses, communities, and state institutions under conditions of unprecedented threat. At the same time, this experience is not only a testimony to resilience, but also a profound and hard-earned source of practical knowledge that may be valuable for other countries, organisations, and sectors.
For the SAFE UKRAINE 2030 Foundation, participation in ASIS Europe 2026 provided an important opportunity to present the Ukrainian perspective on contemporary security, strengthen international professional dialogue, and further develop partnerships with representatives of the global security community.
The conference programme included numerous learning sessions, expert discussions, and practical formats, including interactive scenarios simulating crisis response. These formats enabled participants not only to discuss current challenges, but also to work through practical approaches to risk management, coordination, and the development of organisational resilience.
A particular emphasis of ASIS Europe 2026 was placed on the development of professional networks, partnerships, and cross-sectoral cooperation. Partnership, trust, and shared responsibility are becoming key prerequisites for moving from reactive responses to threats towards a systemic, anticipatory, and democratically oriented culture of security.
The participation of SAFE UKRAINE 2030 in the conference marked another important step towards integrating Ukraine’s experience into the broader international agenda of security, resilience, and responsible partnership.
