Olena Sukmanova, President of the SAFE UKRAINE 2030 Foundation, took part in the 2026 Civitas University Social Horizons Forum, held on 11–12 June 2026 in Warsaw.

The Forum was held under the overarching theme “Where are we heading? Answers” and was dedicated to exploring responses to key questions concerning the future of modern societies, politics, the economy, security and social transformation.

As part of the Forum, Olena Sukmanova joined the panel discussion “Leadership in an Age of Disruption: Toward an Economy of Resilience”, which focused on leadership in times of crisis and uncertainty, as well as on shaping an economy of resilience.

The participation of SAFE UKRAINE 2030 in this international forum provided an important opportunity to present Ukraine’s experience of responsible leadership, societal resilience and the role of civil society in times of profound security and social challenges.

For Ukraine, these issues are of particular importance. Questions of integration, human capital, trust, employment, institutional capacity and the economy of resilience are directly linked to the country’s recovery, democratic security and European future.

The Civitas University Forum brought together representatives of academia, business, diplomacy, local government and civil society, creating a space for cross-sectoral dialogue on the future of modern societies and practical solutions for strengthening their resilience.

SAFE UKRAINE 2030 continues to promote Ukraine’s experience of a new culture of security, responsible partnership and democratic resilience at the international level.
